Parasitic Infection
A parasitic infection or parasite infections is a condition in which an organism, known as a parasite, invades and establishes a relationship with a host organism, often causing harm to the host. Parasites can be single-celled organisms, such as protozoa, or multicellular organisms, such as worms. These organisms rely on the host for nutrients and other resources, and the interaction can lead to various health issues.
Parasitic infections can occur through different routes, including ingestion of contaminated food or water, contact with infected soil, exposure to infected insects, and person-to-person transmission. The specific symptoms and severity of a parasitic infection can vary widely depending on the type of parasite, the host’s immune response, and other factors.
Common types of parasites that can cause infections in humans include:
Protozoa
These microorganisms, existing as single cells, have the potential to induce infections like malaria, amoebiasis, giardiasis, and toxoplasmosis.
Helminths (Worms)
Worms are multicellular parasites that include nematodes (roundworms), cestodes (tapeworms), and trematodes (flukes). Examples include intestinal worms (such as hookworms and pinworms) and tissue-dwelling worms (such as filarial worms).
Ectoparasites
These are parasites that live on the surface of the host’s body. Examples include lice, fleas, ticks, and mites.
Symptoms of Parasitic Infections
-
Digestive issues (diarrhea, abdominal pain)
-
Fatigue
-
Unexplained Weight loss
-
Nausea and vomiting
-
Fever
-
Skin rashes or itching
-
Anaemia
-
Muscle aches
-
Flu like symptoms
Diagnosing a parasitic infection often involves laboratory tests, such as stool examinations, blood tests, or imaging studies. Treatment for parasite infection varies depending on the type of parasite and may involve antiparasitic medications.
It’s important to seek medical attention if you suspect a parasitic infection, as some parasites can cause severe complications if left untreated. Healthcare professionals can provide a proper diagnosis and recommend an appropriate treatment plan based on the specific type of parasite involved.
Parasitic Infection Prevention
Preventing a parasitic infection involves adopting good hygiene practices, making informed choices about food and water consumption, and taking precautions to avoid contact with parasites.
Here are some general guidelines to help prevent parasitic infections:
Practice Good Hygiene
-
Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water, especially after using the restroom, before eating, and after handling pets or animals.
-
Use hand sanitizer when soap and water are not available.
Teach Children Good Hygiene Habits:
-
Educate children about the importance of handwashing and general hygiene practices.
-
Teach them to avoid putting dirty hands or objects in their mouths.
Ensure Clean Water

-
Avoid consuming water from potentially contaminated sources, such as ponds or streams.
Safe Food Handling
-
Wash fruits and vegetables thoroughly before eating or cooking to avoid consuming contaminated food.
-
Cook meat, poultry, and fish thoroughly to kill any potential parasites. Use a food thermometer to ensure proper cooking temperatures.
-
Avoid consuming raw or undercooked seafood, meats, and eggs.
Be Cautious with Raw Foods
-
Avoid consuming raw or undercooked shellfish, including oysters and clams, which can harbor parasites.
-
Be cautious with sushi and other raw fish dishes.
Practice Safe Swimming
-
Avoid swimming in bodies of water that may be contaminated, especially in areas with poor sanitation.
-
Shower after swimming in pools or natural bodies of water.
Protect Against Insect Bites
-
Use insect repellent on exposed skin when in areas with a risk of insect-borne diseases.
-
Wear long-sleeved clothing, pants, and closed shoes to minimize exposure to insects.
-
Consider using bed nets impregnated with insect repellent, especially in areas with a risk of malaria or other vector-borne diseases.

Avoid Contact with Contaminated Soil
-
Walk or play in areas where the soil may be contaminated while wearing shoes.
-
Wash hands thoroughly after gardening or handling soil.

Do your supplements help with Lyme? My daughter is very sick and needs guidance. She has seen several doctors and spent way too much with no answers.
Thank you!
Sincerely,
Therese
Ps thanks for all your hard work in all your docu series.
Hi there Therese
Lyme is a lot more involved than just supplementation although the supplements are going to help. Firstly, Lyme has to do with a virus in your daughter’s body and that requires some big changes in her life to be able to feel any difference in her body. Would you consider one on one coaching so that we can guide you and your daughter correctly on the changes that she needs to make?
Please reach out to our customer services and they can connect you with our health coaches.
Hope this can help!
Hi, I am just someone reading these posts. But, F.Y.I., I use liquid silver to kill candida and it slowly helps with parasites and many other illnesses. Good luck to you!
Excellent review. Thanks so much.
My daughter went to Mexico and has had stomach problems for over 6 months now. Which detox would you recommend? Parafree or parapurify?
Hi Rebecca.
Our health coach suggests the Ultimate Detox Bundle with Parapurify, that has mimosa pudica in it and the Toxibinder to help her bind the toxins, parasites and heavy metals and flush them out.
Ultimate Detox BUNDLE: This package includes all 3 supplements: The Parapurify, the Toxibinder and Colon cleanse. Idealy if she can for a minimum of 3 months.
She should drink lots of fresh clean water while detoxing. If she weighs more than 128 lbs she can aim for 8 x 8 ounce glasses a day. She would like to reach out to you with some other links to help clean and support your daughters gut health and to help purge the parasites out. Please look out for an email from one of our health coaches.
Hi there Jamie, really hoping for your response on the best way to move forward. Last year I over consumed sea moss from Amazon and have reason to believe it was either contaminated or I over did it with the heavy metals. It shocked my system and it seems my intestinal tract is messed up. My endoscopy said my stomach was completely fine but I have reason to believe I have parasites. The side effect are brutal. I get this nausea that feels like your body isn’t fully in line with your movements and extreme fatigue while feeling like I want to pass out. It all just comes and goes at random and shuts me down. I just want some more forward guidance and I would be grateful if you can provide that. Thanks and have a blessed day.
Hi John – If you believe you have parasites or an overload of heavy metals, try this incredible bundle: https://welloflife.com/product/ultimate-detox-bundle2?uid=159&oid=4&affid=181 which is meant to address both parasites and heavy metal and toxins. What is a good way to ease into doing a parasite cleanse for my teenagers? One of them has a rare autoimmune and is currently on prednisone.
Hi Monique.
Start the cleans off slowly and start off with half the advised amount to make sure that if there are any side effects, they are slower. Eventually build up to the full dose when you feel that your/daughter’s body is ready for it. Make sure that your diets are good and mainly consists of vegetables and fruit and lots of lovely clean mineralized water. If your daughter has an autoimmune illness please make sure that she cuts out of her diet eggs, dairy, gluten, GMO corn and if she has meat then also cut out the fatty meat.
I have a few questions about ParaPurify that I hope you can help me with.
Does one need to restrict carbs and sugars while using the product?
Are moon phases important to the cleanse and use of product?
From reading the booklet on parasites by Jonathan Otto, parasites can be
anywhere in your body. This product deals with the GI tract mainly. correct?
What about the rest of the body?
Thank you for addressing my questions.
Hi Anita!
This is a lovely video that you can watch with the info that you need. https://parapurifymethod.com/?uid=133&oid=4&affid=181
The ParaPurify works though the whole body and not just the gut. It is generally good to avoid processed carbohydrates (bread, pasta, cookies, etc) and processed sugars. Health wise the best diet to follow is lots of fruit (glucose) and lots of vegetables and make sure that you incorporate lots of leafy greens. Lots of good clean water to help to flush out the body.
I hope this is helpful.
I am concerned my 19 year old has parasites as he has severe autism and his hygiene is very poor as he has been losing weight and has increasing behaviour issues that are very bizarre. However he has seizures, is nonspeaking so cannot provide much info about the issues he experiences such as aggression and self harm from 2.5 years old. His behaviours prevent us from doing standard bloodwork unless he is fully sedated. He is on seizure medication as well as other prescription medications to help with the anxiety and aggression so I would like to try the parapurify but note the caution if you are taking medications or have other health issues. Any safe way to try this while taking medications? Our many doctors will probably dismiss the concept of parasites.
Hi Sabrina! One of our helpful health coaches will reach out to you!
